Upcoming Special Events:
- The Memphis Men’s Chorale, an ensemble born of the love for choral music in the Church, returns to its roots for its third recital in twelve months: “Evensong, a Concert of Sacred Music.” The concert will be offered at Calvary on Sunday, May 18, at 6:45 p.m. Donations in support of the chorale will be accepted. The concert is not recommended for babies and toddlers. Learn more.

- Koinonia, Calvary's Wednesday evening program of dinner, adult classes, and choir rehearsals, continues this Wednesday.

- Sunday Worship Services are offered at 7:45, 9:00 (with Children's Chapel) and at 11:15 a.m. Learn more about these distinctively different worship services. The Summer Sunday Worship Schedule, with services at 7:45 & 10:00 a.m., will begin on Sunday, May 25.
- Adult, Teen, & Children's Classes continue.
- Author Phyllis Tickle will discuss “pilgrimage” with the J2A and Senior High teens during the education hour at 10:15 a.m., on Sunday, May 18. Also, at 11:00 a.m., the newly-decorated teen rooms on the third floor will be dedicated in memory of Tom Parrish.
- Young Adults Pub Theology- The YAMs invite all those 35 and under, without children, to a special Pub Theology at the Redbirds game. Meet at Calvary at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 18.
- Women of Calvary- Would you like to strengthen your prayer life? Would you like to join a group of women who truly care about you & the Church? Have you ever wondered what the Daughters of the King are all about? Then please come to the home of Linda Nelson for wine & cheese on Sunday, May 18, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Casual dress. - Box Tops for Education- On Sunday, May 18, Calvary will begin collecting Box Tops for Education coupons for our partner public elementary school Carnes Elementary. A collection box is located on the Community Service table on the second floor. This will be an on-going outreach project.
- The Guild of the Holy Spirit will meet on Monday, May 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Meg Turner.
- Koinonia, Calvary's Wednesday evening program of dinner, adult classes, and choir rehearsals, will be held for the last time this spring on Wednesday, May 21. Koinonia will resume on Wednesday, August 20.
- Summer Choir Rehearsals begin on Wednesday, May 21, at 6:30 p.m. in the Crook Auditorium.

- No Classes on Sunday, May 25.
- The Memphis Men's Chorale will be the guest choir at the 10:00 a.m. service on Sunday, May 25.
- Sunday Teen Activity- May 25, the Calvary teens will meet in the Mural Room from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for Popcorn Theology.
- Memorial Day- Calvary's offices and buildings will be closed on Monday, May 26.
- Enjoy the Downtown Table Fellowship lunch served each Thursday in the Mural Room from 12:15-1:15 p.m.
- Guys Overnight for Teens- Saturday, May 31-Sunday, June 1, Jim Bailey and Drew Smith will host an overnight adventure for guys in rising 7th-12th grades. On Sunday, they will help serve at the Community Breakfast.

- The Children’s Choir from Christ Church, Springfield, MO , which follows the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) training program, will serve as the choir during the 10:00 a.m. service on Sunday, June 1. They also will sing additional anthems in the Great Hall during the education hour at 11:10 a.m.
- Summer Classes for Adults, Teens, & Children begin this morning at 11:10 a.m. A coffee fellowship also will be available in the Mural Room.
- A First-Sunday Brunch will be offered in the Mural Room following the education hour (12:00 p.m.).
