Upcoming Events during the weeks of August 29-September 12
- Sunday worship services are offered at 7:45 a.m., 9:00 a.m.(with Children's Chapel), and 11:15 a.m. Learn more.
- Classes for all ages are offered at 10:15 a.m. each Sunday morning. Learn more.
- A First Sunday Brunch will be offered in Calvary's Mural Room this Sunday at 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. View the menu.
- EYC (grades 6-12) will meet for Brunch in Calvary's Mural Room at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, September 5.
- A Labor Day Weekend Organ Concert will be offered at Calvary on Sunday, September 5, at 4:00 p.m. Come as you are to hear a concert of French composers. Works by composers César Franck, Maurice Duruflé, Jehan Alain, Marcel Dupré and Jean Langlais will be presented.
- CORE, Calvary's Rhodes College ministry, has resumed. To find out how you can help support this group that meets each Sunday evening, contact The Rev. Ellen Roberds.
- Calvary offices will be closed Monday, September 6, in observance of Labor Day. If you have a pastoal emergency, call the church at 525-6602, and press 3.
- A Wednesday morning Eucharist is celebrated at Calvary each Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. in the Church. Coffee and conversation follows in the Library.
- Koinonia, Calvary’s Wednesday evening program, continues this week with dinner, worship, adult classes, and Calvary Ringers, Children’s Choir, and Parish Choir Rehearsals.
- The Women’s Bible Study meets on Thursdays during the Downtown Table Fellowship Lunch (12:15-1:15 p.m.), women of all ages and stages of life gather in the Luke Room for a lay-lead discussion of the Gospel lesson for the upcoming Sunday.
- The Foyer Group Kick-off Dinner will be held at Calvary on Friday, September 10. Register online.
- Soup Sunday is Sunday, September 12. Contact Merrill Ann Cole to volunteer to help prepare the soup on Saturday, September 11.
